This website belongs to Tasmanian Catholics who consider themselves traditional Catholics and support the Gregorian Rite (sometimes referred to as the Traditional or Tridentine Latin Mass). It is a source of information, a place for positive dialogue, and a general resource for traditional Catholics in Tasmania.
Mass Times
Mass in the Gregorian Rite or extraordinary form (a.k.a. Traditional or Tridentine Latin Mass) takes place each Sunday at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, New Town (Hobart) and on the second Sunday of each month at 6pm at the Church of St Francis of Assisi, Riverside (Launceston). Please note that there will only be eleven Masses in the extraordinary form next year, on the first Sunday of each month starting on February 1. There will be no January Mass.
